Trump's Granddaughter Receives Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut
The rising star maintains substantial social media presence
The young golfer can count on numerous prominent backers when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she stated.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just stay calm."
"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and have fun," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and has the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
Yet she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.
"And he's a superior human being. He told me to play, have fun, adapting to the flow."
She'll challenge some of top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials commented that involving Kai helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially reaching younger fans.
The young star has millions of followers and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
