Controversial US-backed Gaza Relief Group Ends Aid Operations

The controversial, US and Israel-backed GHF aid organization says it is winding down its relief activities in the Gaza region, following nearly half a year.

The foundation had previously halted its multiple aid distribution centers in Gaza subsequent to the truce agreement between Hamas and Israel came into force recently.

The GHF aimed to circumvent United Nations channels as the primary provider of aid to Gaza's population.

UN and other aid agencies would not collaborate with its methodology, claiming it was improper and dangerous.

Many residents were lost their lives while seeking food amid chaotic scenes near GHF's sites, mainly through Israeli military action, as reported by United Nations.
